The Toiletine Company was a small manufacturer of toiletries, patent medicines and flavorings. Its founder and sole proprietor, Benjamin Franklin Miner, began the manufacture of vegetable extracts (including lemon, wintergreen, peppermint, ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves and rosewater) in Hoosick Falls, N.Y. in 1885.
